Arena
Guadua Cottages is a cozy place located at seashore from the warm Pacific
Ocean on Montaņita beach, Ecuador. The proximity with the sea and its
relative distance from Montaņitas downtown, make Arena Guadua Cottages
a perfect place to sleep with the sound of the waves and enjoy all day
the warm beach, in front of the right surf point call La Punta

Montaņita is a little Ecuadorian coastal town with a nice tropical
ambience, warm sea and weather, delightful seafood, tropical fruits
juices in every corner and nice people. Besides their restaurants
and bars, Montaņita has a unique beach perfect for the surf. This
is one of the most important features that bring a lot of people
from the whole planet to this magical place. Today Montaņita is
not only a place for surfing, also a touristic town with a beach
ambience and interesting nightlife, perfect for backpackers or
groups of families that are searching for a nice holiday in a
peaceful beach spot.

Arena Guadua is located 500 mts north from Montañita’s
downtown. The beach town of Montañita is located on Santa
Elena district, Guayas province, Ecuador.
Montañita beach is located only three hours from Guayaquil,
one of the most important cities in Ecuador, and only 60 kms north
of Santa Elena city.
You can get to Arena Guadua Cottages from of Montañita main
street, just walking by the beach to the north (to the surf point)
o walking by the main road. In less than 500 mts north you will
find a detour and the private parking of Arena Guadua. |

Our
cottages are independent one from the other; cozy but spacious cabins
with private restroom, hot water and electric light (110V) all day long.
The cottages are matrimonial, triple or quadruple.
There are constructed over piles and surrounded by grass, all with rustic
materials.
All our cottages have a King size bed, single beds and cabins.
All the cottages have terrace with sea view, hammocks, besides mosquito
nets for the beds and windows. |

Arena Guadua offer a complete bar restaurant service with interesting
prices. From tropical breakfast to delightful fruit cocktails
and vegetarian sandwiches, in our bar youll always hear good
music and a privileged view to the surf point. At night, the restaurant
transform into a bar and the beers, fruit daikiris and other drinks
are the favourite from our guests.

Just in front of our bungalows there are two surf points. One
is a beach break of rights and lefts waves, perfect for beginners.
Behind, to the right of Arena Guadua, there is a right wave, know
as La Punta (photos), one of the best surf spot in Ecuador.
With good conditions, this right at get up to 12 feet with some
nice barrels.
From
Arena Guadua Restaurant you can see both point and just choose
your board and go inside!
