With more than six years of service, this restaurant located on the heart of Montañita, offer an international menu with prices and dishes for all type of person.
It have their own recipes and their most recommended dishes are the ceviche of Corvina (Bass) on passion fruit and chilli, the White Bass steak with almond sauce and bacon, the risotto with black mushrooms and parmesan cheese the shrimp crocante with sesame or BBQ lobster with fine herbs butter.

Funky Monkey have an additional menu of 12 sushi dishes and in occasions there are some invited chefs that prepare special dishes like for example the Arab style steak flambeau with pernut, oysters or shrimp crocate on coconut. There is a excellent wine selection, where you can find some Chilean, Argentinean and Spanish wines.

On the morning their serve delicious breakfasts, abundant and good value. A recommendation is the churros with chocolate and French toast with fruits. At midday you can enjoy a different lunch, always with a special touch and with a polular price.

The bar offers a variety of quality cocktails on an excellent ambience, young and informal. There is a happy hour from 18h00, all days of the week and they prepare delicious home cocktails.

Funky Monkey also presents “EL LIVING” a clothe boutique with an alternative style. There you can find unique pieces with very venturesome design, made on cottage industry by independent designers of Argentina and Peru. Also offer other gift objects and accesories. All of this will surely will surprise you by their originality and colorful style.

Funky Monkey has one big space on a cozy and modern style, with a minimalist decoration on red and white hue, mix with the home wood style on bamboo. Also have a stage were different types of spectacles and shows like DJ’s, reggae bands, invite artists, etc.

The service is excellent; their owners are on the head on the business assuring the good quality of their staff.

Funky Monkey also have a cozy and little rustic lodge, with six multiple bedrooms, (some with ocean view), with four bathrooms and hot water. It also have an elevated terrace with ocean view, cable TV area, pool tables and a nice ambience with hammocks for our guest to relax. The price of the hostel change depending on the dates and seasons, but usually there are some good value rates. From US$8 to US$15.
